Frequently Asked Questions

The Department of Psychiatry maintains policies and strategic plans to support research aimed at producing new knowledge in psychiatry and mental health. We have systems in place to support the dissemination of research findings and expertise to society, both nationally and internationally, through the Faculty, psychiatric associations, or other academic journals. Currently, the department hosts the Psychiatric Epidemiology and Mental Health Research Unit, dedicated to studying various psychiatric disorders and the mental health of the national population.
Students will have the opportunity to undergo clinical rotations and practice within the hospital, gaining exposure to a wide variety of cases under the close supervision of our expert faculty and clinical specialists.
